Mr Sashi Yeluri

Mr Yeluri graduated in 2000 and earned a Masters in Surgery qualification in general surgery. His surgical training was completed in Yorkshire before a later fellowship in Upper GI and Bariatric Surgery in Sydney, Australia. He holds a post graduate diploma in health research. 

Mr Yeluri is a consultant laparoscopic, general , upper GI and baraitric surgeon at Doncaster Royal Infirmary. He is also an honorary senior lecturer at the University of Sheffield, a Royal College surgical tutor and a PLAB examiner for the General Medical Council.

Mr Yeluri’s extensive training encompasses a wide array of procedures in general and upper gastrointestinal surgery, including hernia repairs, cholecystectomy, anti-reflux surgery, gastrectomy, oesophagectomy, weight loss surgery, as well as diagnostic and therapeutic endoscopy. His research focuses on reflux, bariatric surgery and general surgery with publications and presentations nationally and internationally. In addition to his clinical and research work, Mr Yeluri is actively involved in teaching and serves as invited faculty regionally, nationally and internationally.
